SOUTH
COAST ANATOLIA TOUR
1ST DAY : Arrival
to Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. Meeting and transfer
to Kusadasi. Settle into your hotel Dinner and overnight
in Kusadasi.
2nd DAY : After
breakfast departure for Ephesus which is the largest and
best preserved open museum in Turkey. Visit the Great
Theatre, Monumental Fountains, Agora, Gymnasium, Baths,
Brothel, the Library of Celsus. Also see the ruins of
Artemision Temple one of the seven wonders of the ancient
world. Visit the House of virgin Mary and The Basilica
of St. John. Return to the hotel, Dinner and overnight
in Kusadasi.
3rd DAY : After
breakfast visit three impressive cities of the Ionian
era; Priene’s chessboard layout is the oldest example
of city planning, Miletos gave its alphabet to the rest
of the classical world, Didyma was famous for its Temple
of Apollon. Drive to Dalyan settle into the hotel, Dinner
and overnight in Dalyan.
4th DAY : After
breakfast visit Dalyan; a unique environment under protection
as a nature and wildlife sanctuary. Explore by boat Magnificent
Lycian Rock Tombs, the Dalyan Delta, Iztuzu Beach, a refuge
for sea turtles (Caretta Caretta) and blue crabs. Afternoon
departure for Antalya. Arrival, settle into your hotel
Dinner and overnight in Antalya.
5th DAY : After
breakfast, departure for a full day tour to the Pamphilian
Cities of Perge, Aspendos, Side with their impressive
ruins and well preserved richness of antiquity in Turkish
Riviera. Visit the ruins of the Great Theatre, Stadium
and the huge Helenistic and Roman Gates of Perge, then
continue to Aspendos Theatre. Before returning to the
hotel visit the famous Manavgat Waterfalls. Free time
for a relaxing lunch during the tour. Dinner and overnight
at your hotel in Antalya.
6th DAY : After
breakfast departure to Pamukkale. Arrive and settle into
your hotel. See the marvellous sunset over this magical
and spectacular phenomenon and natural wonder. Dinner
and overnight at your hotel in Pamukkale.
7th DAY : After
breakfast visit the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis
and the calcified waterfalls of Pamukkale Thermal spring
waters, laden with calcium carbonate running off the plateau’s
edge, have formed this sparkling white petrified cascade
of basins ringed by stalactites. The hot springs have
been used since Roman times for their therapeutic powers.
Afternoon departure for Izmir. Settle into the your hotel.
Dinner and overnight in Izmir.
8th DAY : : Choises
